And here comes that very stork-tutor Heronimus. To some extent we are colleagues with him, as the only thing he is interested in is magic.
However, I am a practicing magician, though a beginner, while Heronimus is a master of the magic theory, but absolutely incapable of any, even basic, faerie. In a nutshell, he is a theorist, and, besides, a queer stick. But to tell you the truth, I sometimes think he pretends to be much simpler of a soul than he really is.
Heronimus is highly devoted to his pupil Ivy, I’d even say more than he should be, but he hides that under a well-affected severity. He probably knows that if he allows himself a soft spot, the girl will put a halter upon him.
